An exciting opportunity has become available for a veterinary surgeon to join a well-established, independent small animal practice in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. Family-run since 1983, the practice is known for delivering high-quality, personalized care and has grown to include a standalone branch in West Molesey.
This role offers the chance to work in a supportive, collaborative environment that encourages clinical freedom, case continuity, and professional development. With a varied caseload and time dedicated to both consultations and surgery, it’s an ideal role for a vet looking to build their confidence or further develop their special interests.
The Role
– 4-day week (8:30am–7:00pm) with shared Saturdays
– Flexible route options including part-time hours
– Dedicated surgery or consultation shifts
– Protected admin breaks and lunch
– No out-of-hours – these are outsourced
The Practice
The clinic is equipped with ultrasound, dental X-ray, in-house lab, and Tonovet, with regular visits from orthopedic and cardiology specialists to maintain advanced cases in-house. The team includes experienced veterinary nurses and support staff, and the practice is an accredited nurse training center.
A strong focus is placed on team support, ongoing learning, and career progression – with certificate funding available and a structure that supports personal development.
