We have an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join our friendly team in Great Manchester. The role is within an established practice who work well together and are fully committed to the practice and their clients. Many of the team have been here since the doors opened in 2015 and works hard to maintain a social aspect to the team when we can, so opportunities to get together outside work.
The Location:
As the UK’s second most-populated city, Manchester has a rich history of culture, industry and success that informs its exciting present and future. In terms of quality of life, the city is growing, costs are cheaper including housing which provides a higher level of disposable income to live. In comparison to London, with a good transport system, affordable housing with all the perks of the largest city it can be a better lifestyle. Manchester has its fair share of Michelin starred restaurants and 10 green flag parks in the City. The practice is just outside the Northwestern side of the M60, making it easily commutable to Liverpool for more nightlife and ferry’s to Ireland.
The Practice & The Team:
The practice benefits from great support within the organisation but its main strength is being run and owned by local people delivering the best practice possible for the local community. This allows Gemma and her team to personalise the care on offer and ensures that each member of the team has a real voice in how care is delivered to their patients enabling a real “proud to be part of the team” work ethos. As a Clinical Director/Lead Vet you will be the role model for your clinical team and be motivated to develop individuals to reach their own full potential.
Parking is easy as we are on a retail park, with a variety of shops locally and a fully equipped gym which our team can get discounted membership. There is also a steady supply of brownies and treats as we have a star baker on the team!
This is a full-time role and will be for 40 hours and NO WEEKENDS. There is no OOH’s and so when you are finished for the day you are always able to rest and recharge. However, we are passionate about allowing people to create a work life balance that suits them, so if you are looking at a more flexible working arrangement please get in touch as we will be happy to discuss this. You will also be supported by a very experienced nursing team. Our nurses are equipped and enabled to do all the work you don’t have too, allowing you to concentrate on providing the highest level of veterinary care.

About you:
The ideal vet to join us will be a keen team player, have excellent communication skills and be able to build great relationships with our clients and their pets. You should be confident in routine surgical and medical cases and comfortable with sole charge.
You will also be pivotal to the practice, truly shaping the standards within the practice and putting your stamp on how care for your patients is provided.
